About Geocaching
Geocaching is the ultimate treasure hunt! Using the coordinates, you will locate a cache which contains a logbook and any number of items. Remember if you take something, leave something of equal or greater value. GPS apps on your phone work as any other GPS. Just enter the coordinates and discover MODL.
The best part? To complete the passport, you get your very own coin, and you are entered into a prize draw held at the end of the summer! Once you complete the challenge, bring the passport to the recreation office at the MARC!
Geocache Challenge
Looking for a fun way to exercise your mind and body? Want to get the family outside visiting MODL's many parks and trails? Then our Geocache Challenge is for you! Geocaching is like a giant treasure hunt; we give you clues and GPS coordinates, and you try to find the secret surprise! Once you locate the 'cache', jot your name in the logbook, take a treasure, and leave one behind for the next seekers!
