2016 Electoral Boundary Review
Communities in Nova Scotia are required by the Municipal Government Act to review the number of electoral boundaries and councillors within their region once every eight years. In November 2014, the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg (MODL) began this process with a series of public consultations to inform the development of new electoral boundary options. The feedback was very helpful in adjusting current electoral boundaries to better reflect the criteria as established by the Nova Scotia Utilities Review (NSUARB). NSUARB decision
